1st Meeting on Algorithmic Accountability Reporting with Ray Serrato
Monday, 5 November 2018, 6:30pm at AlgorithmWatch, Bergstr. 22, Berlin-Mitte
We're happy to have Ray Serrato presenting his work: Ray was behind the analysis of the right-wing YouTube videos after the neonazi protests in Chemnitz in August 2018. The New York Times wrote: „Mr. Serrato scraped YouTube databases for information on every Chemnitz-related video published this year. He found that the platform’s recommendation system consistently directed people toward extremist videos on the riots — then on to far-right videos on other subjects.“
After the keynote, we have time to introduce each other and have a conversation. If you are interested in presenting something, too - please get in touch.
