Meet our colleagues: Melanie, Jessica and Friederike
AlgorithmWatch continues to grow in 2020. In the spring, three new colleagues joined our team, and we are delighted to introduce them to you:
Jessica Wulf
Jessica Wulf is Executive Advisor at AlgorithmWatch. Her responsibilities include HR management and organizational development. She has a Master’s degree in Psychology with a focus on work and education, and she has been working on the topic of automated decision-making and discrimination. Before joining AlgorithmWatch, Jessica worked as an HR developer and gender and diversity officer at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, in addition to training international volunteers.
Friederike Reinhold
As Senior Policy Advisor Friederike Reinhold is responsible for advancing AlgorithmWatch’s policy and advocacy efforts. Prior to joining AlgorithmWatch, Friederike worked as a Humanitarian Policy Advisor at the German Foreign Ministry, with the Norwegian Refugee Council in Iran, with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit in Afghanistan, and at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center.
Melanie Gelei
Melanie Gelei supports the AlgorithmWatch office with administrative organization, controlling and financial administration. Before joining AlgorithmWatch, she worked for ten years for Cultures Interactive e.V. as a financial and administrative specialist and in the area of controlling.
