Dr. Julian Bothe (he/him)

As Senior Policy Manager, Julian is responsible for AI, climate protection and sustainability. Working at the intersection of digital and energy policy, he is committed to limiting the resource consumption and environmental impact of the current AI boom. Before joining AlgorithmWatch, he was a consultant for nuclear policy and climate protection at .ausgestrahlt and conducted research on the regional energy transition in southern Bavaria. He completed his doctorate in Munich on the acceptance of the energy transition and studied geography, social sciences and systems science in Hamburg and Osnabrück.
