Mackenzie joined AlgorithmWatch as a Researcher and Project Manager for the Governing Platforms Project. She holds an M.A. in Public Administration from the Central European University’s School of Public Policy and a B.A. in International Politics and History from Jacobs University Bremen.
Prior to starting with AlgorithmWatch, Mackenzie worked in transatlantic policy communications at the Heinrich Böll Foundation’s office in Washington D.C. Her current research focuses on public discourse, online intermediaries, and multi-stakeholder approaches to platform governance in the European Union.
