Pia Sombetzki (she/her)

As a Policy & Advocacy Manager, Pia covers the regulation of ADM systems in Germany at AlgorithmWatch, ADM in the public sector in particular. Pia holds a master’s degree in socio-cultural studies from the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder). Before joining AlgorithmWatch, she was a political educator at the Schwarzkopf Foundation Junges Europa. Prior to that, Pia had a first peek into advocacy work while working for organizations like Human Rights Watch, INKOTA-netzwerk e.V., and European Alternatives.
